Me-n-Ed's pizza is a central California staple. The restaurant chain has over 60 locations across the state. Working with JSA, I helped implement a much-needed site redesign. Design features include: newsletter subscription lightbox; rotating image carousel; and a distinctive navigation menu implemented in Flash (with an image-map fallback).
The site is built in Drupal 6. Admin users can login and manage locations, directions, and online ordering for a store. The restaurant menu is also editable, as is all other site content. Site visitors can quickly find store locations, indexed by city.
When a user first visits Me-n-Ed's they are presented with an interstitial page prompting for donations. This links to a completely new site which features a cross-browser design, lightbox images, mouse-over effects, and an easy-to use donation form (with jQuery form validation).
